Australian police have released body camera footage showing one of the latest attempts to get Bradley Murdoch to reveal the location of Peter Falconio’s body, on the 25th anniversary of his murder.
Falconio, born in Huddersfield, was shot dead on a remote stretch of highway near the Northern Territory town of Barrow Creek in July 2001, while traveling with his girlfriend Joanne Lees across Australia.
Lees was kidnapped by Murdoch but managed to escape by hiding in the bush for several hours before she was able to flag down two men driving a truck.
“I need you to think about whether Peter Falconio was your son Quinton and whether anyone knew anything about where his body was,” a police officer asks Murdoch in the video filmed in June 2025.
Murdoch died the following month, while serving a life sentence for the 28-year-old’s murder.
