“Do you know how hard it is to be your own man when your father is Jabba the Hutt and you have human arms growing out of your alien armpits?” – Rotta the Hutt
Although I especially liked Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grog, the film was not a big financial success for Lucasfilm. But Disney’s business team can’t predict the future and must begin designing and creating toys, clothing and other products months and months before a movie hits theaters and without knowing how fans will react to different characters. And after Disney missed out on a ton of money by not creating any Baby Yoda products before the character’s debut in order to keep his existence a surprise, it will likely never let this happen again for possible future breakout. Star Wars characters.
And that’s how we ended up with this wild look Rotta the Hutt Inflatable Halloween Costume available to order from Spirit right now for the super low price of $75. It is cheaper than Grand Theft Auto 6!
©Esprit / Lucasfilm / Kotaku I have so many questions about this Rotta outfit. Why did the designers give the costume’s legs a texture similar to Rotta’s skin? It seems Rotta has short legs, which I don’t remember from the movie. Let me see it again. (Reviews Mando and Grogu) No. No legs. I guess I could have just watched a trailer and saved some time…
Another question: hands that stick out from the armpits. Sorry, that wasn’t a question. Let me rephrase that. Hmm. For what? Why would you do that? Who looked at that and said, “Yeah, I did it!” » On the contrary, Rotta’s costume should be accompanied by gloves textured like his skin. This would somehow hide them. Or maybe skin flaps above the handles that hide your hands when you’re not using them.
©Lucasfilm / Kotaku One more question: who wrote the text description for this costume and why did they suggest that someone would call Rotta their “favorite character from The Mandalorian” Maybe a little weird Star Wars sickos like me love him because he’s so weird, but how many teenagers or kids are jumping to dress up as Rotta the Hutt this Halloween season? In addition, he comes from THE Mandalorian gives Grog. Come on, Spirit Halloween, I’m waiting…well, actually, this is pretty much the quality I’m waiting for. Continue.
My only big regret in life is that this outfit came out later Burger King stopped selling the Order-Bounty Hunter themed meals. I wish I could wear this costume, fight my way to my local Burger King, and order this meal. Alas, the dreams that come true are no longer dreams, but memories of better times.
Anyway, uh, I have no more questions about this costume and I don’t have a third image to share, so I guess I’ll just end the blog here… Seems like a good place. Have a good weekend!
