Mitch McConnell’s Wife Elaine Chao Spotted Leaving Rehab Center

As Internet detectives dissect Mitch McConnellthe proof of life photo of his wife Elaine Chao surfaced in the flesh… leaving the rehabilitation center where the Senator is… we have a photo… and it is authentic.

The former U.S. labor secretary was spotted Tuesday sneaking out of the rehabilitation center where the longtime Kentucky senator is recovering after suffering a fall last month. This is the first time Chao has been seen in public since McConnell was hospitalized — aside from the now-infamous photo that sent social media into a frenzy.

Chao remained discreet, wearing a face mask and keeping her head down as she left the medical center and got into a waiting vehicle.

As TMZ previously reported, McConnell was hospitalized On June 14, a fall at his home left him briefly unconscious.

McConnell’s health issues have people worried – like Marjorie Taylor Greene — calling him a “vegetable”… and Lisa Rinna claiming that the saga was something out of “Weekend at Bernie’s”. MTG also called Chao a “communist spy.”

Over the weekend, McConnell’s office attempted to quell growing speculation by post a photo showing the 84-year-old smiling from a geriatric chair next to Chao while holding a newspaper.

Instead, the image only fueled more questions online… with some saying it appeared AI-generated and others insisting it was an old or manipulated photo.

Speculation has become so strong that Jimmy Kimmel laughed at the frenzy with his parodywhile the podcast hosts Kara Swisher And Scott Galloway later stacked onwith Galloway bluntly saying he thought the image was “fake” and Swisher calling it “sus.”

Chao’s appearance doesn’t answer any questions about her husband’s health…but it’s the first time she’s been seen in public amid all the speculation.

The big question now…when will we see McConnell leave the rehab center?!?
