Seth Rogen AI-assisted writing is a “dumb dog”… Don’t be a writer instead!!!
Published

Seth Rogendon’t let ChatGPT write his next hit… and he says anyone who’s willing to do that isn’t cut out to be a writer.
The actor-writer lashed out at scribes looking for a tech boost during an interview with the outlet Raw. …saying he really doesn’t understand when people share AI content like it’s as good as what a human can do.
Rogen says that most of the AI bullshit he’s seen online is “stupid dog bullshit”… and, if a person’s instinct is to use AI to write anything, then they shouldn’t be a writer.
The process is as important as the finished product, says Rogen…and a true writer should actually love the process.

Of course, the film industry is battling the rise of artificial intelligence… with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently announcing that AI-generated actors and screenplays written using AI would not be considered for the Oscars.
Others are more optimistic about technology… with Tyler Perry saying in 2024 that it consider using it — And Reese Witherspoon tell people to get on the AI train before he overtakes them.
Seth clearly feels differently …at least as far as his vocation is concerned.
