Jesse Ridgway don’t let these “going to hell” comments get to him…because he’s not religious. He shared an Instagram Story on Wednesday in which he explained that he wasn’t really bothered by the negative reaction to abortion.
ICYMI, the YouTuber — passing by McJuggerNuggets online — was criticized because he and his wife, Ashleyhad terminated their pregnancy when they learned their unborn child had Down syndrome.

But Jesse’s not going to shy away from bringing up the subject because people are upset and saying… “I’m doing this not only for me and my wife and my family, but for all families, all parents-to-be.”
He called out his critics, noting… “A lot of pro-life people want death for me and my wife, which is hypocritical.”

The influencer added… “A lot of them use God and Jesus as a weapon and justification, but that doesn’t matter to me because I’m not religious.”
Jesse says he doesn’t believe there’s anything wrong with having faith or being religious, even if he isn’t religious himself. But he explained… “When you start using it as a weapon, then it becomes problematic.”
He said he “never in a million years” expected to become “a role model for abortion,” but explained that he would continue to push and encourage people to talk about it.
