Keep your iPhone Refueling can be a challenge, but the best MagSafe wireless chargers use a smart magnetic system, so you don’t need to fumble with cables or worry about a wireless charging sweet spot. Apple’s MagSafe is a accessory system integrated into the iPhone12, iPhone13, iPhone14, iPhone15, iPhone16And iPhone 17 range (except the iPhone 16e). A ring of magnets on the back of the phone (and in MagSafe-compatible cases) lets you attach MagSafe chargers that can charge your iPhone wirelessly.
MagSafe is now used interchangeably with Qi2. If iPhones are compatible with Qi2, some are too Android Phoneslike the Google Pixel 10 Series (you can also pair a Android phone with a MagSafe case). Updated July 2026: I added a Nimble charger, removed some older devices, and updated prices.
Best MagSafe charger
You can’t go wrong with the official Apple MagSafe charger, especially since the company has revamped it to include a built-in 2 meter (about 6.5 feet) cable. This Qi2-certified charger can deliver up to 25 watts to iPhone 16 and later, but you need to pair it with a 30-watt USB-C power adapter of your choice. I like the Anker Nano 30W. This also allows you to charge other devices, such as AirPods in their wireless charging case.

Nomadic
Stand One (4th generation, Qi2 25 W)
Finding the perfect balance between weight and magnetism is tricky, but Nomad achieves it with the Stand One. It’s heavy enough that you won’t tip it over when reaching for your phone, and you can remove it from the charger with one hand. The stand comes in black or white and looks sturdy, with an aluminum and glass body with rubber padding. I use it to charge my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL at maximum speed, and it can do the same for iPhones. Nomad previously released MagSafe and Qi2 versions of this stand, but the latest model I’m recommending here supports Qi2 25W to deliver the maximum wireless charging speed of 25 watts. There’s also a 5-watt Qi rear charger for AirPods.
It can get a little warm when charging, but that’s not unusual. You get a high-quality braided USB-C charging cable in the box, but you’ll need a 40-watt power adapter. I like the Anker Nano 45W Chargerbut I can’t help but think Nomad should have included one at this price.

Best 3-in-1 MagSafe Stand Charger
Users of the holy trinity of Apple devices will love the Belkin 3-in-1 Charging Tree. The metal pole is T-shaped, with a Qi2-certified pad for your iPhone on the left side and a Apple Watch puck on the right side that supports fast charging (both are magnetic), plus a Qi certified base for AirPods. You can also place your iPhone in landscape orientation if you want. Sleep mode– it does not interfere with the Apple Watch. Belkin includes a power adapter with a charging cable connected.

The Apple Watch phone and tablets can pop up to support Sleep or Nightstand mode, or you can keep them flat if you prefer. I like that you can lay the phone charger flat to charge any old Qi devices you may have. The base is heavy and comes in black or white. You get the USB-C cable and 36W power adapter you need in the box. Nimble also uses recycled materials wherever possible, several certificationsand offers a free electronic waste recycling program.

Pixelsnap charger with stand
Most of the latest from Google Pixel 10 Series smartphones support Qi2 magnetic charging (except budget 10a). If you own one of these devices, it’s natural to want a charger from the same manufacturer. The Pixelsnap Charger with Stand is technically made of two components. There’s the stand, and then there’s the Pixelsnap charger, which is designed very similarly to Apple’s MagSafe charger above. You can remove the charger from the holder quite easily, for example if you want to hold and use your phone while it charges. Or you can buy the charger alone if you don’t want to pay the extra. He East expensive with the stand, and it really should come with a charging adapter. Fortunately, the stand, made from a mix of aluminum and polycarbonate, is very sturdy and won’t slip. I haven’t had any heat issues either.
This is technically a 25W Qi2 charger, which is the latest specification of the Qi2 standard, allowing you to charge 25W Qi2 phones at a higher speed of 25 watts. THE latest iPhone and that of Google Pixel 10 Pro XL supports Qi2 25W, so if you own one, you’ll need to pair it with a 35W charging adapter. Otherwise, you can settle for one 20W charger. —Julien Chokkattu

Space is at a premium when you’re traveling, but the Anker MagGo 3-in-1 folds into an incredibly compact form. It doesn’t skimp on power, charging your iPhone or Qi2-certified phone at up to 15 watts on a magnetic pad that can adjust to your preferred angle. A second pad behind the main pad charges AirPods or other wireless headphones, and there’s a fold-out Apple Watch charger. You get a USB-C cable (about 5 feet) and a wall adapter in the box.

Best 2 in 1 Travel Charger for Apple Watch
Satechi
OntheGo 2-in-1 Wireless Charger
While there are a few circular folding chargers available now, this one from Satechi is the one I currently throw in my bag for travel. It features a textured faux leather finish, supports Qi2 for up to 15 watts of phone charging, and has a foldable Apple Watch charger for Nightstand mode. It snaps together nicely using magnets and comes with a USB-C cable and a canvas bag, although you don’t really need the bag. The only downside is that the Apple Watch charger caps out at 5 watts. You can add a third pad for AirPods for an additional $20.

Belkin
UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger (Qi2 25W)
Belkin offers a line of more versatile, travel-friendly foldable 25W Qi2 chargers, allowing you to keep them on a desk or nightstand when you’re at home, or toss them in the bag to take on a trip. My favorite is the UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger, which supports any Qi2 (and Qi2 25W) phone for the fastest speeds in landscape or portrait orientation. When unfolded, there’s a slot on the back for charging the wireless earbuds at up to 5W. Better yet, if you’ve brought your watch charger, you can plug it into the 5W USB-C port on the side, turning this 2-in-1 into a 3-in-1. (There is also an official 3-in-1 version of this charger features an Apple Watch charger that folds out from the back of the stand.)
You can adjust the viewing angle of the charging stand, but the best part is that Belkin includes a compact 45-watt charging adapter and a USB-C cable, so you get everything you need for not a lot of money. money. —Julien Chokkattu

Best MagSafe Car Mount
This simple MagSafe mount fits into any air vent in your car and features a powerful magnet to hold your iPhone securely in place, even on bumpy roads. There’s a ball joint that lets you tilt your iPhone slightly for a better view, and it’s easy to place it on the mount and remove it with one hand. There’s a lot of great MagSafe Power Banks Nowbut this Anker model is my favorite. It has a sufficient capacity of 10,000 mAh, enough for almost two full charges for most iPhones, supports Qi2 for fast charging, and has an LED screen that shows the precise percentage of remaining power. This magnetic power bank even has a built-in kickstand to hold your iPhone in portrait or landscape orientation (handy for sleep mode when traveling). You can also charge with the included 2-foot USB-C cable via the USB-C port at up to 27 watts.

Best MagSafe Charging Tray
Having a place to drop off your keys, jewelry, and watch, as well as charge your phone and headphones, can help you get out the door faster in the morning. This sleek and spacious tray from Courant has a MagSafe slot for your iPhone, a secondary charging slot for your headphones, and space for all your other daily essentials. I tried the black linen version, but you can opt for lighter shades or a leather finish (although it’s more expensive). Wireless charging is slow, but there is a spare USB-C port. There’s also a bright, useless LED on the back of this charger that I had to cover when using it on my nightstand.
It looks stylish and neat, but the linen version easily collects dust. WIRED Reviews Editor Julian Chokkattu suggests the Leather-Saddle model. He says it doesn’t easily show dust and looks great after almost two years of use.

A thick barrel port cable and a big 65 watt power supply are included.

A rotating support
It sounds simple, but this Qi2-certified charging stand has a cool trick we’ve never seen before: the stand can rotate 360 degrees. Want to switch from portrait to landscape orientation? You can simply rotate your iPhone. It moves easily with a satisfying sound that reminds me of a safe dial. The cushion holds your iPhone securely and sits on a ball joint, so you can tilt it to lay an AirPods charging case flat on top.

Putting a little robotic face on a charger might seem silly, but this pixelated face is so cute. He even changes his expression when something is in charge. A Qi2-certified hinged charger works with iPhones in portrait or landscape orientation (handy for sleep mode), but it can also lay flat to charge any Qi device. Tilt the earpad up 70 degrees and you’ll find a second earpad for AirPods or other wireless earphone cases to charge on. The suction cup base of this mount holds it firmly in place, so it never slips or threatens to tip over when I remove my phone, which I can do easily with one hand. More good MagSafe and Qi2 chargers
Here are some other MagSafe wireless chargers we tested that didn’t quite manage to earn a spot above.

Photography: Simon Hill
Mous Dual Charging Station for $100: This dual charger from Mous looks good, but disappoints in terms of charging speeds, maxing out at 15 watts for the main MagSafe pad and just 5 watts for the second Qi pad, although there is an aftermarket USB-C port that can charge at 18 watts. You can also add a Apple Watch Charger ($55) which magnetically connects to pogo pins on one end (5 watts maximum) and pops up for nightstand mode.
Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (Qi2) for $26: Our top pick until Apple’s redesign, this Qi2 charger offers MagSafe-style magnetic charging and a 15-watt charging rate. This mat stays in place, has a durable aluminum casing that stays relatively cool, and comes with a permanently attached 5-foot USB-C cable. It can also charge AirPods with a magnetic charging case, but it doesn’t come with a power adapter.
Belkin BoostCharge Pro Convertible Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand for $55: This Qi2-certified stand features a magnetic pad that can lay flat to charge older phones or unfold to act as a stand for MagSafe iPhones and other Qi2 phones in portrait or landscape orientation (convenient for sleep mode). This is a Qi charger with MagSafe, so it will line up perfectly with MagSafe iPhones and charge at 7.5 watts, but it also supports Qi charging and can power any Qi phone at up to 15 watts. It comes with a 3.3-foot braided (permanently attached) and black-and-white USB-C cable, but you need a power adapter.
MagSafe is the name of Apple’s accessory system built into the iPhone12, iPhone13, iPhone14, iPhone15, iPhone16And iPhone 17 rangeexcluding the iPhone 16e. A ring of magnets on the back of the phone (and in MagSafe cases) can help transfer energy more precisely and faster than traditional devices. wireless chargers. However, it’s also a convenient way to hold an accessory in place, like a wallet, or mount the iPhone without the need for clamps. There is now a huge range of MagSafe compatible accessories.
Qi2 is the next generation wireless charging standardand Apple worked with the Wireless Power Consortium to develop it. Compared to the original Qi standard, it offers MagSafe-like magnetic charging, faster charging rates and improved efficiency, but where MagSafe is an Apple technology designed for Apple products, any device can support Qi2. Apple updated the iPhone 12 and newer to support Qi2, so Qi2 should be a term you look for when shopping for a magnetic wireless charger. We’re starting to see more Android Qi2 phones, such as the Google Pixel 10 lineup (except 10a), and Qi2 ready phones which adds magnets using a compatible case. A Qi2 charger can charge your iPhone and any other Qi2 phone.
Qi2 25W is the latest Qi2.2 update, supporting p charging fast read up to 25 watts for phones supporting the standard, such as the iPhone 17 series and the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
StandBy mode was introduced in iOS 17 and allows you to use your phone as a bedside alarm clock. When you place your iPhone on a charger in landscape orientation, the screen turns into a sort of docking station, displaying the clock (with different designs you can choose from), photos from your library, or widgets. If you have an iPhone that supports an always-on screen, you can choose to have the screen automatically turn off after a certain period of time when the iPhone is not in use or if the room is dark. Head to Settings > Sleep to personalize it.
Android phone owners can set a screensaver to appear when their phone is placed on a Qi2 charging pad. You can set a digital or analog clock, slideshow from Google Photos, or Google Home controls for quick access to your smart devices. Head to Settings > Display & touch > Screen saver to configure it.
How to test MagSafe chargers
I test all Qi2 or MagSafe chargers for at least a week, using them to charge my iPhone 16 and my wife’s iPhone 12. I’m also testing Qi2 chargers with my Pixel 10 Pro XL. I live with most chargers on my nightstand or desk. Whenever possible, I check the charging rate and note how long it takes to charge my iPhone. I evaluate the usability of the design, the strength of the magnets, test any additional chargers or ports, and test any special features.
