Zelda: Quartet Of Time announcement seriously excites players

It’s an exciting time for fans of The Legend of Zelda, as one of the most popular entries in the franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, is set to finally receive an official next-gen remake later this year. Marking the first official overhaul of the 1998 title since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D was released on Nintendo 3DS in 2011, this remake will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 after years of rumors and speculation.

Announced in June as part of the most recent Nintendo Direct showcase, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake was introduced thanks to a brief trailer, giving us our first glimpse of the artistic style that Nintendo has opted for for its second remake of the Zelda classic. Other than that, details remain scarce on what fans can expect from the release, as well as when the official release date will be.

However, in the meantime, the hype surrounding The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is in full swing with the announcement of another upcoming release that fans of the game won’t want to miss.

Creators behind Fair winds and following seas, an album that reinvents the soundtrack of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, come Quartet of Time. Inspired by the stunning soundtrack of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, This orchestral album arranged for string quartet by Atlys may not have an official release date yet, but will be the perfect addition to any Zelda fan’s collection.

“The music of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timearranged for string quartet and performed by ATLYS”, the official website the synopsis reads. “We’ve been building this quietly for a long time. No dates yet, but you won’t need to wait for the full album to hear the first tracks.” So, registering on the site will allow you to hear the songs before anyone else.

With a brief sample of some of the music you can expect to find on the Quartet of time album shared on YouTubefans were quick to take to the comments to share their thoughts on this superb accompaniment to the upcoming remake.

With other comments praising Atlys for his previous renditions of some of The Legend of Zelda’s most iconic soundtracks, it seems that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is also in good hands with the launch of Quartet of Time. Now all we can do is hope that we don’t have to wait much longer for this mind-blowing release.
