Diddy wants woman who sued him to pay for ‘frivolous’ lawsuit

Diddy says one of the lawsuits against him is so baseless that he’s now asking a judge to force the woman who sued him…and his lawyers…to pay up.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy is asking a federal judge to sanction Grace O’Marcaigh and his lawyers, saying they filed what he calls a frivolous amended complaint against him, even after a judge ruled that California courts did not have personal jurisdiction over him.

In the filing, Diddy’s attorneys argue that O’Marcaigh’s amended complaint simply repackaged the same jurisdictional arguments that the court had already rejected instead of resolving the issues identified by the judge.

They claim O’Marcaigh and his lawyers ignored the court’s ruling, forcing Diddy to spend more money defending what they call a baseless case. He asks the judge to impose sanctions on them, including attorney fees and costs.

O’Marcaigh’s lawyers disagree. In letters attached to the filing, they say the amended complaint adds new allegations that they say link Combs to California through the yacht rentals at the center of the lawsuit. They also say the judge gave them permission to amend the complaint and insist the request for sanctions is without merit.

As TMZ previously reported, O’Marcaigh continued Diddy and his son, Christian combs “King”about an alleged incident that occurred in 2022 aboard a yacht in the Caribbean. She claims Christian sexually assaulted her while she worked as a steward on the ship and alleges that Sean bears civil liability for what happened.

Sean has denied the allegations.
