Fast forward to the “Spider-Man” premiere Monday night, when ERW was asked what happened…and she graciously replied that the upcoming movie was going in a different direction than the book, which meant her character was SOL.
Who knows what the plot will be… but in the first movie, Evan played Sandra’s character’s daughter, a widowed witch and single mother.

To her credit… ERW took the high road and wished for the success of the film… even if deep down she felt they were being too cunning in leaving her behind.
Evan isn’t the only OG star to be snubbed in the sequel… Aidan Quinnwho played Sandra’s love interest, Gary Hallett, is also not in the film.
