Sydney Sweeney opens up about her sexualization in Hollywood

The actress recently opened up about the body talk during an October appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Julia Cunningham Show.”

In June 2025, Sweeney revealed that she found filming nude scenes quite easy, stating that she found power in the female body.

“And so I fell in love, over and over again: I love sports. I love being outside. I was on the ski team and I wakeboarded. I do water slalom,” Sweeney said. “I was on the football and softball team. And then my parents introduced me to grappling, which is like wrestling, and kickboxing.”
She added: “I was the only girl in the dojo. I trained there from about 13 to 19. I fought against all the guys. I liked to think that if things fell apart, maybe I could progress.”
