Tyrese Gibson pays tribute to his friend’s legacy in the fast lane…announcing nearly $1 million raised in honor of his late ‘Fast & Furious’ costar Paul WalkerIt’s charity.
Tyrese took the stage with Paul’s brother Cody at FuelFest in West Palm Beach, Fla., this weekend… telling the 20,000-plus crowd that Paul’s nonprofit, Reach Out WorldWide, had officially passed the $1 million milestone.

TMZ has learned that Tyrese got a bit of a head start…but they’re almost at $1 million! The organization is confident it will reach the milestone by the end of the year…after seven years of consistent fundraising.

Paul founded Contact us worldwide in 2010, creating a disaster response organization aimed at sending trained volunteers to places devastated by natural disasters…inspired by the deadly earthquake in Haiti that year. ROWW remains active in disaster responses around the world.

Fuel Festival is a global car festival founded by Paul’s brother Cody, with a portion of the proceeds going to ROWW.
As you will recall, Paul died tragically in a violent car accident in November 2013… but it’s clear that his legacy lives on.
