Amazon has announced the dates for its next big spring 2026 sale, and there’s a lot to know before it launches. The retailer offers deals throughout the year, but a handful of major sales events tend to generate the biggest savings — think Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. The Big Spring Sale is the latest addition to this calendar and is quickly becoming an anticipated event. For 2026, the sale will run from March 25-31, giving shoppers a full week to browse deals and purchase across all categories.
When will the sale take place?
Amazon’s Great Spring Sale is back for 2026 and will begin at 12:01 a.m. PT on March 25 and will run until 11:59 p.m. PT on March 31. For the past two years, the big spring sale has been held in March. In 2024, the sale took place from March 20 to 25, and in 2025, it took place from March 25 to 31.
What types of offers will be available?
According to Amazon’s announcement, you can get up to 50% off on seasonal categories like Easter. Like last year, we expect to see deals on everything you can imagine, including electronics, fitness offers and other spring essentials. We saw headphone deals, Televisions, home security systems, tablets and more. With good weather just around the corner, you can also expect deals on barbecues and outdoor gear.
What’s new this year?
Amazon is introducing a few new features for the 2026 sale that make it easier to find the best deals. Three Top 100+ lists are launched: one covering the best deals across all categories, one dedicated to health and wellness, and one highlighting seasonal choices to freshen up your home and wardrobe.
Daily deals will rotate throughout the event, with new themes each day covering everything from Easter essentials to spring cleaning to travel must-haves. Doorbuster deals are also making an appearance this year with discounts starting at 40% off fashion, beauty and electronics.
Do I need a Prime membership to shop Amazon’s big spring sale?
You don’t need a Privileged subscription to buy the big spring sale, but have one unlocked additional benefits it’s worth knowing. Prime members get access to exclusive deals marked with a “Prime Spring Deal” badge, in addition to the usual perks like free two-day shipping on eligible orders.
Will other retailers have spring sales?
Last year, we saw competitors like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart offer their own version of spring sales. Many of the deals on Amazon will also be on other retailers, so you’ll probably be able to pick your favorite and shop there.
Should I wait until Prime Day?
First day is Amazon’s biggest shopping event of the year. In recent years, we’ve seen two Prime Days: the first in July and the second around October. We’re sure to see some great deals during these sales, but aside from a handful of annual deals, you’ll likely discover similar savings during the spring sales.
