World Cup 2022: Jurgen Klinsmann chooses the player who deserves to win the trophy in Qatar

Germany legend, Jurgen Klinsmann wants Argentina captain Lionel Messi to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar trophy.

Klinsmann said Messi deserved to win the World Cup this year more than any other football player.

According to him, the Paris Saint-Germain star should win the World Cup with Argentina just like the late Diego Maradona because of his immense talent and his place in world football.

Klinsmann told La Nacion (via PSGTalk): "I think everyone in football has one wish, and that's that Messi, with his incredible talent, with everything he's done in his career, with how much he represents football, wins the World Cup like Diego did."

He added: "Messi deserves it more than anyone. Messi should bring the Qatar World Cup home."

Argentina is in Group C of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and will face Saudi Arabia, Poland and Mexico.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off in November, later this year.
