2023: I can't get rid of APC - Ex-president of RMAFC, Mbam

Former Chairman of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation & Fiscal Commission, Mr. Elias Mbam, said on Sunday that he could not get rid of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, after losing the primary election of the Party Governor in Ebonyi State.< /p>

Recall that Mbam resigned from his post and contested the ticket for the governorship of Ebonyi State on the APC platform but lost.

Ebonyi State Assembly Speaker, Mr. Francis Nwifuru, is currently in charge of the party in the state.

Mbam made this known when addressing stakeholders and many supporters from the state's 13 local government areas during a meeting at his campaign office in Mile-50, the capital of the state. 'Ebonyi State.

He declared his support for the administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari and called on his many supporters to remain calm, patriotic and committed to the APC for the benefit of the state.

He said: "We acknowledge the overwhelming support, solidarity, prayers and love expressed and extended by the Ebonyi people across political, religious and social divides that have morphed into a strong movement, from the when I expressed interest in running for Governor of Ebonyi State so far.

“I have no intention of leaving the APC for another game. I urge the many supporters and Ebonyi to remain calm, patriotic and committed to the APC for the benefit of the state.< /p>

“I will continue to support the government of President Muhammadu Buhari and make my wealth of knowledge and experience available to the people of Ebonyi at all times,” he said.
