2023: Joke Silva and Foluke Daramola join the APC Women's Rally in Lagos
Nollywood actresses Joke Silva and Foluke Daramola joined the APC women's rally on Monday in support of the party's presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Female Disc Jockey, DJ Kult, was also spotted at the rally.
The march follows the inclusion of Ms Silva as a member of the women's wing of Mr Tinubu's presidential campaign council.
Ms. Silva chairs the Board's Creative Industry and Entertainment Committee.
Other committee members include Toyin Adegbola, Esther Wright, Rose Odika, and Hadiza Kabara, among others.
Other actresses co-opted into the council are Mercy Johnson and Rahama Sadau.
While Ms Johnson has yet to say anything about the list, Ms Sadau has distanced herself from the nomination.
Ms. Daramola, on the other hand, is an active member of the APC.
APC Women's RallyOffice of the Women's Leader, Lagos APC, led by Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, organized the rally with the tag: " Lagos Women Support Walk for Tinubu/Shettima, Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat”.
The actresses joined other female APC members as they marched through Lagos Island, CMS and nearby areas singing and pledging their allegiance to the Tinubu/Shettima candidacy.

The march ended at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly Onikan Stadium, Onikan.
First Lady Aisha Buhari has been appointed Grand Patron of the council, known as the “Tinubu/Shettima Women's Presidential Campaign Team”.
Other council members include Abike Dabiri and Rinu Abiola, daughter of the late chief MKO Abiola.
The wives of the party's presidential and vice-presidential candidates, Oluremi Tinubu and Nana Shettima, former First Lady of Borno State, also play key roles on the council.
