Again, 9 family members die mysteriously in Kogi
For the second time in a matter of days, nine family members died mysteriously in Kogi State.
The incident happened in Nagazi under Adavi local government in Kogi state on Monday
The latest incident comes days after the mysterious deaths of four family members in Mopa-Muro, Kogi State Local Government Area, over the weekend.
DAILY POST collected authoritatively on Monday night that the Nagazi incident saw five family members die at one location before four were rushed to hospital.
Sources told our correspondent that the other four later died at an undisclosed hospital in the area.
According to a family source, who never wanted his name mentioned, the father of the deceased victims was arrested while the mother is still being treated in an undisclosed hospital.
He said they don't yet know the actual cause of death as they suspect food poisoning or a spiritual attack.
All efforts to speak with Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) William Ovye Aya proved unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
He did not answer calls or respond to text messages sent to his phone lines.
