Nigerian Army troops rescued ten kidnap victims during clearance patrols conducted around Chikun and Igabi Local Government Areas in Kaduna State.

Troops on Monday rescued six more kidnap victims in the Kangon Kadi area of Chikun local government as they continued their offensive against terrorist gangs in the area.
Mr. Aruwan said the troops also killed several terrorists and dislodged their hideouts in the forest crossing Chikun and Igabi council areas.
"Operation Forest Sanity troops neutralized several bandits and dislodged camps during clearance operations carried out in some hard-to-reach places, covering Chikun and Igabi LGAs.
"As noted in operational comments, troops neutralized an unknown number of bandits while clearing insurgent and bandit camps at Apewohe in Chikun LGA.
“The operation extended to Dakwala and Kunai hills in the same LGA, where other hiding places were cleared, although no contact was made with bandits, he said. he declared.
Mr. Aruwan said another camp was also dislodged at "Daban Lawal Kwalba" in Igabi LGA after troops overpowered heavily armed terrorists guarding the hostages.
"Troops after clearing the bandits stormed the hiding places and rescued ten kidnapped people who were chained and bound with ropes. The attached images describe the dire situation in which the hostages were found, Mr. Aruwan added.
He said the released hostages are Surajo Aliyu; Ayuba Yakubu; Ibrahim Abdulrasheed; Aliyu Mohammed; and Magaji Tasiu.
The others are Nasiru Ahmed; Mohammadu Ibrahim; Ayuba Abdul Salam; Kelvin Musa and Paul Patrick.
