Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2023

Focusing above all on the needs of women, Alberta Ferretti has integrated her femininity and elegance into a versatile bag offers for pre-fall 2023.

The designer has focused even more on the codes engraved in the brand's DNA while evoking a collection mixing daytime essentials with shimmering evening wear, masculine cuts with couture volumes and timeless sophistication with edgier rock 'n' roll inflections - leaving women room for personal interpretation.

"It's sultry, feminine and romantic, but in a different way from the past. Women today are romantic, but also stronger, and want to feel beautiful while feeling comfortable," Ferretti said.

Hence the choice of effortless pieces, encompassing flowing suits in velvet, pretty dresses in satin, jersey dresses and separate pieces, including soft, plush knits and sweaters treated with a gloss coating. The generous proportions of leather jackets, raw-cut trench coats and duchess overcoats helped convey the nonchalant attitude.

"I like to see how a woman moves and interprets a look, making it her own," said Ferretti highlighted the collection's versatility by removing a removable neckline ornament from a mauve shirt.

An expert in formal wear, the designer did not fail to include airy chiffon dresses and signature ball gowns, here worked in silver-gray and purple tones, as well as bright pants embellished with feathers and fringe. A look combining a sequin-embroidered halter top with matching sheer flared pants was the life of Ferretti's fashion party.
