APC Nat'l Leadership: Diaspora Presidents Congratulate Ganduje, Ajibola and Pledge Support

The Diaspora Chairpersons Committee (CDC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Bashiru Ajibola on their appointment as National Chairman and National Secretary of the party respectively.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the APC at its 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) on Thursday in Abuja confirmed the appointment of Ganduje and Ajibola to run the affairs of the party, following the resignations of former occupants.

Ganduje replaced Senator Abdullahi Adamu as APC National President while Ajibola replaced Senator Iyiola Omisore as National Secretary.

The Diaspora Committee, under the leadership of Mr. Tunde Doherty, in a statement on Saturday in Lagos, declared its support for the new leadership of the ruling party.

The statement was signed by Prince Stephen Tella, President of APC, Spanish Chapter and Secretary General of CDC.

Tella said Ganduje's wealth of experience and leadership, as former governor of Kano State for two terms, would do the party a lot of good.

"His dedication and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC won him the trust of party members," Tella said.

The CDC scribe also said that Ajibola's wealth of knowledge and experience as a former spokesperson for the Nigerian Senate would undoubtedly contribute significantly to the growth and success of the party.

"In their respective roles, we are confident that Dr. Ganduje and Senator Bashiru will uphold the values ​​of transparency, inclusiveness and progress, which have been cornerstones of APC's success.

"As the APC CDC, we stress the importance of party unity, calling on all members to work together towards a common goal of ensuring good governance and positive change for the people of Nigeria .

"Under the leadership of Dr. Ganduje and Senator Bashiru, we are confident that the APC will remain committed to addressing the nation's challenges and advancing the well-being of all citizens.
