Arise TV Town Hall: Once again Tinubu stays away as Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso attend

All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu again stayed away from a public meeting organized by Arise TV for presidential candidates ahead of the 2023 elections on Sunday

Mr. Tinubu, through his presidential campaign council, said in a statement on Saturday that he would not attend any debates organized by the television station which he accuses of being biased against him.

He also asked his supporters and spokespersons to boycott the TV channel.

However, three candidates - Atiku Abubakar of the People's Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labor Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New People's Party of Nigeria - are currently appearing in the third round of Arise TV's public meeting.

Speaking on human capacity development, Peoples Democratic Party candidate Atiku Abubakar talked about giving incentives to the private sector to create jobs.

He also said he would link the labor market with the education sector.

"We must educate our children, but properly. The moment you educate them, they will be available to the private sector which should be the engine of growth. The private sector is the engine of prosperity in any given economy ”
