Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham Forest: Three things we learned

Arsenal fans are feeling good again as they returned to the top of the Premier League table with a 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest yesterday. We saw goals from four different Gunners players and today we're going to take a few takeaways from another emphatic day at the Emirates.

The misfortunes of the forest

Nottingham Forest may have felt the victory over Liverpool would serve as a turning point, but in reality, it was probably just an indication of how Klopp's side fared against Forest. They're good at digging their heels in when playing at the City Ground, but away from home more often than not they seem to be falling apart, as evidenced by this performance.

Concern for Saka

Bukayo Saka has limped off with injury here and the big concern, of course, is that he may not be fit in time for the start of the World Cup. There's no guarantee that will be the case, but England fans are already worried following Reece James' injury. Saka wants to redeem some euro, and we hope he gets the chance.

Arsenal can do it

With 12 games played this season, Arsenal are two points ahead of Manchester City in the title race having dropped points just twice in the Premier League. We're not saying they should be the favorites to win it all as City have the better pedigree for that by far, but the Gunners are legitimate contenders - and that should scare off a lot of top-six clubs.
