Arsenal-linked Mudryk causes mayhem by admitting he 'can't say no' to 'really good' Gunners

Mykhaylo Mudryk has said he would find it hard to turn down a move to Arsenal, causing absolute chaos on social media.

The Shakhtar Donetsk winger, otherwise known as 'the Ukrainian Neymar', was linked with a move this summer to the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta was keen to bring a new winger to the club following Nicolas Pepe's loan to Ligue 1 club Nice.

He also attempted to sign a defensive midfielder on deadline day as Aston Villa rejected three offers for Douglas Luiz.

Many Arsenal fans are now quite disappointed with the club's transfer business despite the early summer additions of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus.

Fans believe Arteta and technical director Edu have left the squad a bit too thin for a season involving the Europa League and three domestic competitions.

Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are currently injured, meaning the Spanish manager only has Sambi Lokonga and Granit Xhaka available among his first-team central midfielders.

In terms of wingers, Arteta has Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Marquinhos at his disposal, while Emile Smith Rowe and Vieira can both function as a wide player.

As well as Mudryk, the Gunners were linked with Wolves winger Pedro Neto and Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.

Reporter Rudy Galetti spoke about Arsenal's interest in Mudryk last month.

Galetti says the 21-year-old is 'pushing' to join Arsenal late in the window.

Shakhtar were asking for 50 million euros to sell the player, while Everton and Nice had made offers worth 30 million euros.

He added: "Arsenal were ready to reach the figure of around £30m and hoped the player's willpower would help close the deal. But that was not the case."

Mudryk was in the Champions League for his team on Tuesday night against RB Leipzig.

Shakhtar won the match 4-1 in Germany, with the young winger registering a goal and two assists.

It's no surprise to see so much interest in Mudryk, and he has now revealed that he 'dreams' of a move to the Premier League.

During an interview with CBS Sports he was asked about interest from Arsenal and admitted they were a "very good team" with a " very good trainer" in Arteta.

"For me, Shakhtar is my home," Mudryk told Ben Jacobs. "All my thoughts are on Shakhtar only.

"In winter, we will see.

"I think every guy dreams of [playing in] the Premier League.

"Arsenal are a very good team. Very good manager. I like the way they play.

"From my side, I can't say no [to Arsenal], but a transfer is not only my decision."

As you would expect from Arsenal fans, they absolutely loved this and expect him to join the winter window.
