1 Deliver passengers and baggage to the same airport at the same time. And go out of your way to help when that doesn't happen.

2 Hire sensible, middle-aged women with a sense of humor as cabin crew rather than Love. Island seekers. (Who would you rather come to the rescue in an emergency?)

3 Ban anyone who continues to shout into their phone even when the emergency panel seat belt is on. and the plane is ready to take off.

4 Reinstate the “basics and shine” service mantra that embodies their attention to detail from top to bottom . , but this was shelved a few years ago.

5 Offer decent, plentiful food on short-haul flights to show you're different from no-frills airlines.
