Assassin's Creed Mirage gameplay and release date
Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer for the new Assassin's Creed Mirage game which will be released on October 12, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and will also be available to play on PlayStation and PC. Returning to the stealth roots of the franchise, Mirage is set in the ninth century during the Golden Age of Baghdad. During which players will assume the role of Basim, a young street thief who evolves into a Hidden One master, eventually becoming the character seen in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Mirage release dateThe game focuses on stealth, player choice, and parkour, as seen in the recently unveiled gameplay trailer which you can check out below. It reintroduces familiar elements such as throwing knives, smoke bombs, and large-scale assassination Black Box missions. Assassin's Creed Mirage introduces new abilities, including Assassin's Focus, which allows Basim to quickly eliminate groups of guards.
Additionally, the pole vault allows effortless crossing of the roof. The trailer also gives a glimpse of Fuladh, an important ally of Basim and the Hidden Ones in Baghdad. Ubisoft guarantees a global experience by offering the possibility to play the game entirely in Arabic, with the character of Basim interpreted by the famous Jordanian actor Eyad Nassar.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is designed as a shorter experience compared to recent entries in the series, paying homage to the game that started it all.
