Atiba University partners with ADking Foundation for Academic Excellence
Atiba University, one of the fast-growing and functional private ivory towers in the southwest located in Oyo, an ancient town in Oyo State, has not backed down in its attempt to carry out its program of repositioning and rebranding in the production of 21st century graduates who will in turn impact the life of society.
The development prompted the university to partner with the United States-based ADKing Foundation for the advancement of academic excellence at the institution.

Recently welcoming the team led by the Foundation's President, Mrs. Barber Naomi King, and the Organization's President, Professor Babs Onabanjo and Mr. Stone Street, the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, the Professor Sunday Okeniyi, said the area of interest agreed by the two institutions, as set out in the signed Memorandum of Understanding, would include partnership in the development of a process of academic excellence between the two institutions.
According to him, the partnership and collaboration agreement between the institutions would focus on the provision of mentorship by the foundation to stimulate the growth and development of Atiba University and facilitate the university's access to libraries international around the world.
He said, "The synergy will also involve additional partnership with some highly rated universities in the United States, the facilitation of student exchange programs between Atiba University students and other universities in the States This will also involve other strategic arrangements to enhance Atiba University's repositioning and rebranding program.
The founder and president of the university, Dr. James Adesokan Ojebode, appreciated the foundation for finding Atiba University worthy of collaborating in the field of academic excellence. He also encouraged the management of the university to effectively utilize this great opportunity in order to propel the research and innovative activities of the university to an enviable height in the Nigerian university system.
“International collaboration is one of the important considerations for a university to remain globally relevant,” he said.
