'Avoid Room Seven': The Inspector calls into a Grade II listed Georgian inn in the pretty Norfolk town of Holt. Although it is "not bad value for money", he is disappointed with his "small" room. 17-room inn on Holt's High StreetEnjoys its venison stew at dinner but isn't a big fan of the breakfast buffet Remember the inspector pays his way...and says it like it's was

The festive lights are dimmed this Christmas, but not in Holt. The pretty town of North Norfolk is ablaze with illuminations in what could be seen as a response to cost of living spikes.

The Feathers - part of the East Anglia Chestnut Group is a Grade II listed Georgian inn on the High Street with 17 rooms, which we are told at reception have all been refurbished.

The only window faces a wall and there is noise constant of a kitchen extractor.

Open the one of the taps and it swivels at a right angle; the paint on the bathroom door is peeling and the curtains in the bedroom look like they belong in a student apartment.
