Big Brother Naija Season 7: Beauty Tukura is not our member - NBA

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has distanced itself from recently disqualified Big Brother Naija Season 7 contestant, Beauty Tukura.

On Sunday, Ms. Tukura, a former beauty queen, was disqualified from the show after receiving two additional blows.

She made history as the first Big Brother Naija housemate to be disqualified from the show in less than two weeks.

Ms. Tukura, the 2019 winner of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant, claims that she studied law at Afe Babalola University.

A statement signed by NBA 1st Vice President John Aikpokpo-Martins, made available to PREMIUM TIMES, said reports linking him to the legal profession are embarrassing and tend to discredit the profession s they turn out to be true.

< p>M. Aikpokpo-Martins in the statement said NBA records do not show the former BBN contender to be a member of the corps.

He said this casts doubt on claims that she is indeed a lawyer.

He wrote: "A quick check of the Law Practitioners Chart databases kept at the Supreme Court, and the Nigerian Bar Association did not reveal this 'Beauty Tukura' impetus to be on the chart. of the Supreme Court or to be a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

"However, I hereby call upon anyone who might know his real name, assuming we have obtained his real name, to contact me."

In a statement on her official Instagram account, Ms. Takura says she has learned her lesson and moved on to the good side.
