What did you expect?A rich and handsome future husband that I could afford salary to retire at 30 and do fun things. More realistic, a fun evening in good company.

First impressions? Ciarán was adorable! I liked his smile. We kissed spontaneously, like old friends.

What did you talk about? Our trips to Colombia. Use of Scottish/Irish slang in England. Our love of This Is My House. Our mutual distrust of anyone who eats green bananas.

Most awkward moment? I have dyspraxia, so eating at a taco restaurant on a date might have resulted in more carnage than it did.

Table manners? He didn't make a hint of a mess eating tacos, so I'd say they were masterful.

The best thing about Ciarán? lovely, warm person who seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me.

Would you introduce Ciarán to your friends? Absolutely. They too welcome non-green banana lovers.

What do you think he did to you? Probably I was an eccentric but lovable Scotsman. He did well to hide his disgust when he learned that I had never been to Ireland (I'm sorry, one day ).

Did you go anywhere? We stayed at the bar beyond some waiters to sample almost every margarita on the menu, if that matters.

And...did you kiss? Alas, you didn't.

If you could change one thing in the evening, what would it be? Not much. It was a very wholesome and happy affair.
