Dylan's attorney, Orin Snyder, took a victory lap, telling TMZ..."This case is over. It's outrageous that it was ever brought in the first place. We're thrilled the Complainant has dropped this case led by a sham attorney and that the case has been dismissed with prejudice."

In a letter filed with the court on Wednesday, Snyder attacked the credibility of the accuser...pointing out that she deleted key text messages.

Dylan had maintained his innocence from the start, swearing he would defend himself vigorously. We have contacted representatives of the accuser for comment...so far no feedback.
