My Boyfriend Left Me To Play A Bedroom Scene - Mellisa Osagie

An actress, Mellisa Osagie, said her boyfriend broke up with her because she was acting in a bedroom.

In an interview with Saturday Beats she said: "My boyfriend left me because I played in a bedroom scene. However, I'm ready to stay with anyone who's ready to stay; and I'm ready to open the door to anyone who wants to leave.

"My emotions have always been in control. Whoever is meant for someone will stay in their life. As an actress, I think it's better to be with someone who understands the job. It has nothing to do with trust or valuing my career more than my relationship."

Disagreeing with the idea that actresses are generally promiscuous, Osagie said, "The difference between an actress and the regular person on the street is the camera. I dated a guy in 2017 , and we had problems. He didn't have a car and wasn't rich; but I was always with him because I loved him. However, when we had a misunderstanding, he told me that I was everywhere with one of my male colleagues because he had just bought a car.

"I asked him if he expected me to be in a bad mood because a colleague bought a car. He then slapped me three times after I made that statement. I haven't spoken about it publicly because I think some people are going to resent me (for being an actress)."
