Illuminate with bold lipstick and gloss
Lately, I've been enjoying the ease of gloss. They're no longer sticky, they keep your lips hydrated longer, and you don't need a mirror to apply them. That said, nothing packs quite the punch of a glossy lipstick. I remembered this recently when I was sleep deprived, cranky, and had seconds to join a Zoom where I had to embody joy. I swiped on a bright colored lipstick. And voila… It masked the fact that I was desperate to take a nap, it lit up my face and actually lifted my spirits. But remember, unlike lip gloss, you definitely need a mirror to apply it.

Standard Bog has an insane ability to sell. Makeup artist prodigy Isamaya Ffrench, meanwhile, isn't interested in joining the status quo. Her work goes against the grain and challenges ideas of who and what beauty should look like. And, unlike most, she succeeded with it. Even her personal look – she sports bleached eyebrows, brightly colored hair and thick, spider-like eyelashes – is unorthodox, which is why Tom Ford, Byredo and Burberry have all sought out her stardust. for the accolades it brings to their brands. Now she's spreading that magic in Industrial, her own beauty line. Which, predictably, is brilliant. There's a 14-shade multi-color eyeshadow palette with pigments so deep and rich it'll probably last forever. For those who want plumper lips without injectables, her lip serum does just that. Looking for an eyebrow product to keep brows in place all day? Discover the eyebrow laminator. Its triple hyaluronic serum is launching shortly, but so far my favorite product is mascara.
