BSI becomes sponsor of SIGA Sports Integrity Week

21 July – SIGA has entered into a two-year sponsorship deal with the British Standards Institution (BSI) to support its flagship Sporting Integrity Week event, starting with the current edition scheduled for 12-16 September.

BSI is already a partner of SIGA, producing its SIRVS sports governance audit, rating and certification tool.

Matt Page, Managing Director UK and Ireland at BSI, said: "As part of this collaboration, BSI will provide an impartial and robust third-party audit process in accordance with SIGA's Universal Standards of Sports Integrity. to build trust, confidence and credibility in the sports industry. We look forward to the September event and the outcomes that will improve the governance of sport."

This #SIW2022 edition will include an in-person element for the first time since its launch during the covid-19 pandemic with SIGA's mission to unite key stakeholders in sport to adopt improved governance standards, bringing a greater integrity, transparency and accountability.

LaLiga football boss Javier Tebas and Paul Elliott, the chairman of the English FA's Inclusion Advisory Board, have confirmed they will speak and join already-confirmed Qatar 2022 chief Hassan Al-Thawadi, UEFA financial sustainability guru Andrea Traverso and European leagues chairman Claus Thomsen.
