Buhari congratulates TY Danjuma at 83
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired), on Thursday congratulated former Defense Minister, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, on his 83rd birthday on December 9, 2022.
>Buhari's birthday message was included in a statement signed by his Special Advisor for Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, titled "President Buhari Congratulates Former Defense Minister Theophilus Danjuma at 83".
According to Adesina, "The President joins family members, especially his wife, Senator Daisy Danjuma, in celebrating with the former Army Chief of Staff, 1975-1979, who served meritoriously in the military and remained active in the private sector, providing employment to many people and sharing his experience with institutions and governments in shaping development policies.
“President Buhari praises the former defense minister for his role in promoting democracy and democratic values in the country, and regularly advises political leaders on the need to put the nation first and work for the greater good of the citizens."< /p>
Buhari acknowledged the kindness of former COAS in establishing a foundation that cares for the underprivileged, with commendable interventions in the health and education sectors.
So he prayed for the welfare of the military officer and his family.
