Championship: Troost-Ekong is recovering from an injury, to face Blackpool

Watford manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed that William Troost-Ekong is available for the club's Sky Bet Championship game against Blackpool on Saturday.

Troost-Ekong suffered a minor hamstring injury in an international match with Nigeria and has missed the Hornet's last two games against Stoke City and Swansea City.

Bilic, who recently took charge of the London club, says the centre-back is part of the west coast trip.

"Troost-Ekong trained with us yesterday [Thursday October 6] - he looks good and he will definitely be in the squad," Bilic said at a press conference on Friday.

"It's a big positive for us, especially with our injury problems at the back."

The defender has made two league appearances for the Vicarage Road side this season.

Watford have won just one of their last five games (two losses and two draws).
