Hey, look up in the sky...it's a bird, it's a plane...no, it's another Chinese rocket crashing into Earth.

It's true. China, it seems, has done it again with its disastrous space program which is set to rain debris on our planet - possibly as early as Saturday, some experts warn.

China reportedly launched the 23-tonne spacecraft, dubbed the Long March 5B, earlier this week and it's supposed to make an uncontrolled re-entry somewhere in the world, but no one knows where, making people still more nervous.

Of course China's space program has been crashing and burning lately...the most recent example was on Wednesday when a cargo spacecraft evaporated largely due to massive heat as it re-entered the atmosphere.

All that was left of the Tianzhou-3 spacecraft were small pieces that thankfully didn't hit anyone on earth, but instead fell into a predetermined area of the South Pacific, according to the Manned Space Agency from China.

The freighter served China's orbiting space station and was docked there until July 17 as the country attempted to make the artificial satellite fully operational.

This mishap follows 2 other incidents that clearly underline China's difficulties with space exploration. In May 2021, debris from a Chinese rocket fell from the sky into the Indian Ocean. A year earlier, metal objects from another Chinese spacecraft flooded villages in Ivory Coast, but luckily no one was injured.

China's space program is run by the People's Liberation Army, which is the military wing of the ruling Communist Party. Due to its military connection, the United States excluded China from the International Space Station.
