Chlöe's Debut Album Is Coming: Here's What We Know About 'In Pieces'

Chloe Bailey consolidates her solo career. The singer, who performs under the stage name Chlöe, announced the upcoming release of her debut album, "In Pieces," in March. Chlöe broke the news on January 24 with a 17-second cinematic teaser showing herself poised in a red latex dress. In the song released in the teaser, Chlöe sings, "Wear my heart on my sleeve / They all say I'm naive / But it's better than nothing / When did it all get so heavy now?"

Previously, Chlöe had success with her sister Halle Bailey as Chloe x Halle. The duo released two albums, 2018's 'The Kids Are Alright' and 2020's 'Ungodly Hour', which each earned a Grammy nomination. Although there hasn't been an official announcement of their disbandment, Chloe x Halle appears to be on hiatus as the sisters focus on their respective careers. (Halle, for example, stars as Ariel in the upcoming live-action "Little Mermaid.")

"Have Mercy" marked Chlöe's first solo single of 2021. The sex-positive anthem had all the makings of a modern hit: a big-budget music video, a TikTok challenge, and several internet-breaking live performances . Expectations are high: Chlöe has been considered something of a protege for Beyoncé since she signed with Parkwood Entertainment in 2015.
