New Zealand's 45-point win over Sri Lanka later on Tuesday saw England and themselves qualify with a game to lose.

The Black Caps went 147-7 in their 20 overs, while that Sri Lanka struggled to 102-8 in response with Hayl ey Jensen taking 3-5.

England, who sit second in Group B behind New Zealand on net run rate will advance as the group winner if they beat the Black Caps when they meet on Thursday.

England captain Heather Knight has yet to play in the Games due to a hip injury and is awaiting the results of a CT scan which could determine if she can make the finals.
