James Vince's men needed just under two hours to claim the final Warwickshire wicket.

The T20 Blast semi-finalists have then knocked out the 91 needed to win by eight wickets inside 17 overs.

Felix Organ scored 41 36-ball runs before Vince and Nick Gubbins finished the job.

Having lost to Essex inspired by Simon Harmer last time out, Hampshire are now back on track, having taken 23 points, while defending champions Warwickshire failed to recover only four runs after suffering their third defeat.

Warwickshire's 10th pair of wickets, Briggs and George Garrett, added 31 morning runs, to take their partnership to 37.

Garrett survived an lbw call from Keith Barker and a delivery from Liam Dawson that came through the door but on the stumps.

However, he knocked Barker through the covers before Briggs powerfully powered former Hampshire teammate Dawson twice to the border.

Garrett was dropped by Vince on 10 on the first slide as he dived to his right but, in the sequel, Hampshire's chafing ended when Briggs took over Kyle Abbott.

Organ started the chase with the fourth delivery when he guided an Oliv coupe...
