Reading a statement at the end of their emergency meeting in Kano, the group's leader and Shekarau Information Commissioner, Attorney Haruna Isa Dederi, said that the 45 members who signed the statement, decided to stay at the NNPP to practice their good citizenship. rights enshrined in the constitution.

Dederi, a member representing Karaye/Rogo Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, explained that “We remain jointly and severally members of the Kano State branch of the NNPP with unwavering loyalty and determination. to lead the party to success in the next general election.

Dederi, who reaffirmed his loyalty to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, reiterated that the group members must continue to make sacrifices for their great party and further strengthen the party's support base.

“Already the NNPP is matched only by another party's supporters and its focused leadership. It is a known fact to nationalize and beyond. We urge all of our people to continue to cooperate with us so that we can redirect the affairs of our state for the good of its people and to save the nation from a state of near collapse.

"We have recognized the inalienable right of every citizen to make choices in the exercise of their freedom of association as enshrined in our constitution," Dederi said.

The federal lawmaker added that the group collectively agreed to join the NNPP because of their belief in the party's manifesto and principles, noting that "these opposing people have placed more emphasis on solutions to the problems facing the country is faced with only on theoretical answers. ”
