Gifted gospel singer, Lekan Remilekun-Amos otherwise known as Omo Dafidi has said that the 21st remembrance of his famous gospel musician father, Dr. Remilekun Amos will be held in his hometown, Ilaje, Ondo State, to celebrate its ideals and positive impacts on life.

Speaking to Sunday Scoop in a phone interview on Saturday, Remilekun-Amos, who is a Zion singer from the river region of Ondo State, said the impact music and the uniqueness of his father had inspired the change of the place of remembrance to Ilaje.

He said, "Last year we held my father's 20th commemoration in Lagos State. The event attracted many gospel singers who delighted the attendees with distinct performances in honor of the memory of our grandfather. It was an unforgettable event that left fond memories for participants and guests. But after carefully considering many things, we intend to organize the program announced in November this year in his hometown, Ilaje. It will feature several gospel stars. We will celebrate his drive, talent, how he used uplifting songs to bring many back to God and make a positive impact on lives.''

On his latest album, Oluwa De (The Lord Has Arrived), the singer described the six-track album as a testament to the love of God, the respect for His majesty and the edification of people to be reconciled to God and to obey his commandments.

The singer is also excited about his debut at the upcoming sixth edition of Concert Luli; an interfaith event for Christians scheduled for October 7 in Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos. He said, “At the event which will be attended by many popular gospel singers, we will pray and praise God for his abundant love and favors upon us. The concert was designed by the organizers as a way to promote worship, the word of God and to intercede for our beloved country through inspirational praise.''
