Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State says it is the choice of political godfather and former state governor, Chief James Ibori, to support any candidate in next Saturday's gubernatorial elections .

Responding to reporters' questions shortly after Monday's inauguration of the government house's new press center, Asaba, Okowa said Ibori had a choice following his supposed support for the former governor and member PDP stalwart for APC Governor and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo Agege.

According to him, just as many people from the APC defected to the PDP to support the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori, it is anyone's choice to support anyone. any candidate.

PDP Publicity Secretary in Sapele, Delta State Comrade Benson Okorodudu recently said that former Delta State Governor Chief James Ibori allegedly ordered Deltans to vote for the state PDP gubernatorial candidate, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, although he also agreed that it was the turn of Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie constituencies where the sheriff is from to produce the next governor of the state.
