Dior's Spanish shift, changes at Zegna, hairstyle for sale in Paris

OLE: Dior tapped photographer Laura Sciacovelli to feature its Cruise 2023 collection in a print campaign launched on Saturday. Through hazy light, models pose against the columns and richly tiled interiors of a Sevillian palace, showcasing the Andalusian theme chosen by Maria Grazia Chiuri for the collection.

"The looks embody the passionate dialogue between the excellence of the Dior workshops and the wealth of know-how Andalusian" the brand indicated.

Looks comprised of layers of taffeta and lace mingle with sportswear and equestrian references that make a a nod to dancer Carmen Amaya, who revolutionized flamenco in the 1950s by performing in men's clothing. Known as La Capitana, Amaya was a key inspiration for Chiuri's collection, which was unveiled in Seville in June.

Campaign images feature Dior classics like the Lady Dior bag and Bar jacket, available in richly embroidered versions, while the Saddle bag presents a traditional Andalusian leatherwork technique used in saddlery. Other Spanish symbols include shawls, mantilla veils and gloves, as well as lace fans bearing the brand's signature.

With campaign art direction by Fabien Baron, models Maryel Uchida, Chai Maximus, Yunseo Cho , Freja Rothmann, Greta Bultmann, Miriam Sanchez, Eden Joi and Raynara Negrine were styled by Elin Svahn, made up by Peter Philips and styled by Guido. —ALEX WYNNE

ZEGNA CHANGES: Edoardo Zegna, Ermenegildo Zegna Group Marketing, Digital and Sustainability Director, said Thursday that Domenico Galluccio, director of public relations and group communications, is leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity. His last day with Zegna will be Friday.

Zegna thanked Galluccio, who helped develop the group's communications strategy through a while pivotal change that included a rebrand and a public listing in New York in December.
