He said that the APC and his campaign team would have used his photo at the age of 12 as that of Tinubu in a documentary titled "the nation builder".

The documentary referenced by Duke was televised by TVC, and also uploaded to various YouTube channels to tell the story of Tinubu's life; childhood, education, political career and achievements in the public and private sectors.

"My disagreement is that my picture as a 12 year old is being used as his picture. So they couldn't find his picture when he was young and they had to take my own picture," Duke said. .

"The photo of the boy used as Bola Tinubu in all the documentaries is me. I am the boy in the photo, not Tinubu as they claim in their documentaries.

"This photo was taken when I was 12 during my school years at Federal Government College Sokoto, Sokoto State."

"I don't know if I can get justice on this, but I'm sorry that a 12-year-old is being used for political (reasons)."

The APC nor its Presidential Campaign Council have yet to admit or refute the allegations made by the former governor of Cross Rivers State.

Duke said it was disappointing that the level of political debate has fallen so low that candidates for political office are not discussing issues that directly affect the people they want to govern.

He blamed discussions around topics that attack individuals running in the 2023 election.
