Elton played his last "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" concert in Stockholm on Saturday night and ended the show with the namesake on the tour. He thanked his fans for supporting him at over 330 live events.
After he finished, Elton said…"Every step of the way my fans have been there. They've stayed with me, they've been supporting me, they've been patient and they've kept coming through every last show. . »

He continued… “Tonight was magical. I'm trying to process it, and I don't think it's going to sink in until a while after I'm finally done shooting. I can't tell you how much I will miss the fans and how humbled their support has been - it will stay with me forever."
One cool thing that happened during the gig...there was a live view of Coldplay that came up -- they were performing in Sweden at the same time -- and Chris Martin said both to his and Elton's audience: "Elton, of all of us here, of all the bands and artists you've helped and inspired, we love you so much."
