EPL: I like him a lot - Liverpool manager, Klopp on Arsenal star
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has said he greatly admires Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.
Klopp also revealed that he previously wanted to sign Odegaard for Borussia Dortmund while managing the Bundesliga club.
Odegaard was only 15 at the time and eventually stayed in Norway before joining Real Madrid in 2015.
Speaking to TV2, Klopp said (as quoted by Metro): "I like him a lot, it's easy at the moment I think."
"It was a bit more difficult at the start of his career at Madrid, it didn't seem to work.
He added: ''I was really disappointed because we wanted him at Dortmund, we also wanted him when he was very young, we had a long conversation when he was still a child, with his father, in the end, he decided for Madrid, it's fine.''
