EPL: Jermain Defoe names clubs to finish top four this season
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe has named the clubs that will finish in the Premier League's top four this season.
The 2022-23 Premier League season is starting to take shape, with Arsenal still top of the table with 15 points despite losing 3-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Reigning champions Manchester City are currently second with one point behind Arsenal, while Tottenham and Brighton are third and fourth respectively.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United are not currently in the top four.
Asked about his first top-four finish, Defoe cited Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea ahead of in-form Arsenal.
"I'm not going to say who will win, who will finish second and that," Defoe told Football Daily.
"But for me the four best teams in the Premier League this year, when I look at the teams, are Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea."
