EPL: Teddy Sheringham predicts difficult season for Man Utd, reveals club causing problems

Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham has predicted a 'difficult season' for the Red Devils in the upcoming 2023/24 season.

Sheringham also said Brighton will cause problems for other clubs this season, adding that Chelsea and Liverpool will improve.

"Manchester United need to improve their game," Sheringham told Lord Ping.

"They have a big challenge not only to catch up with Manchester City, but also to join Arsenal.

"It's going to be tough. Liverpool will get better, Chelsea will get better. I'd like to think Tottenham [Hotspur] will improve, and Brighton will also cause problems for teams. I think it will be a tough season for Manchester United."

Man United under Erik ten Hag finished in third place last campaign.
