EXCLUSIVE: Lutz Huelle returns to AZ Factory for some encores
Lutz Huelle, who signed his first collaboration with AZ Factory in October, is back for an encore , and a recurring role leading pre-collections, WWD has learned.
Its next product story, which will be unveiled next month for the pre-spring 2024 season, s also comes with an increased commitment to sustainability, with the aim of creating half of the collection from unused materials.
Based on "joy", the collection is to expand on the themes of Huelle's first effort , which perfectly captured the casual couture look pioneered by the late AZ Factory founder, Alber Elbaz.
"The first collaboration with AZ Factory was the most fabulous and inspiring experience, and I'm thrilled to be able to continue collaborating with this incredible team," Huelle told WWD. "The spirit and values of AZ Factory have always been an integral part of my own work, and I can't wait to start working on this next chapter."

Huelle recently made personal appearances for his AZ Factory effort at the Andreas Murkudis specialty store in Berlin, and Bongénie Grieder in Geneva, where the designer regularly returns to head the fashion and accessories design department at the HEAD art and design school.
