Tiree ("tie-ree") is the furthest island western Inner Hebrides of Scotland, with no land between here and Canada. It's just over 30 square miles and populated by just 650 people.

Still, plenty of distractions await. There are well-established surfing and windsurfing scenes in this "Hawaii of the North". Visitors can also paddleboard in quieter coves.
