F1 LIVE: Lewis Hamilton 'could lose title' as Leclerc has tension with Sainz
Sebastian Vettel is unlikely to drive in Formula 1 again, but the four-time world champion could take on a leadership role in the future, according to Ted Kravitz.
The German retired at the end of the 2022 campaign after leaving Aston Martin and he has teased a possible return to a senior role. And Sky Sports pit lane reporter Kravitz has hinted at what role he could play in the near future.
"We may well see a surprise return of Sebastian Vettel this year, but it won't be as a driver," said Kravitz.
"I really believe he's decided not to drive anymore and as a man of integrity, as I know, I don't think he's going to disappoint everyone by saying 'ahh, you know what , I was 'insincere in there, let's go, I'm coming back as a driver'. And everyone will say "hang on, we said goodbye to you".
He added: "Maybe Audi, maybe, but I think he'll come back to Red Bull. I think he'll replace Helmut Marko, that's more likely. Like the kind of sports advisor automotive."
